A story of softness, passed down
Sara, creator of La Caressette, is passionate about the heritage and craftsmanship of mulberry silk from her country of origin.

The birth of La Caressette
From emotion to creation
“I especially remember the day she gave me my first silk scarf for my 18th birthday. The surprise of opening the gift and the feeling of soft silk around my neck were unforgettable. That scarf, a true caress, has stayed with me ever since.”
After an international journey and settling in France, Sara began a career in fashion. Still captivated by silk accessories, she looked for pieces combining quality, artistic character and an attainable price.
La Caressette was born from that search in 2024: a house conceived as a bridge between the heritage of Chinese silk and contemporary French design.
Our mission
A caress with character.
The silk scarf becomes a personal pleasure, a way to wear one’s mood. Through the softness of the fabric, colour and design, we want every woman to feel free to express her sensibility — tender, assured, sometimes playful.
A scarf tied at the neck, a colour chosen on instinct, a motif that brings back a memory: we love these small gestures that make everyday life more personal. An elegance felt as much as seen, with room for character.
French design
Artworks created with partner artists
La Caressette collaborates with partner artists to bring their worlds to life on silk. Creation and design are developed in our workshop in Villejuif, near Paris, under Sara’s direction.
Traditional Eastern motifs, Parisian scenes, gardens and cultural celebrations meet in original compositions. Each scarf tells a singular story shaped by cultures, emotion and contemporary elegance.
Material and standards
The heritage of Chinese silk
China is the historic birthplace of silk. La Caressette honours this heritage by choosing Chinese mulberry silk for its softness, lustre and ability to reveal the richness of colour.
After production, every scarf is carefully inspected in our workshop in Villejuif, near Paris. Quality control and packaging are completed there before the piece reaches its future owner.
